Sometimes, in the early spring, there's a time of day - in the late afternoon - when it's warm enough to sit outside on the patio in your favorite chair and, even though it's still a bit chilly and you know this basking in the sun is a bit premature, a beam of light hits your arm or leg or face just right, and you are reminded of the sharp, deep warmth of summer, and you can smell the change of seasons, and you feel comfortable in your clothes, like they just came out of the dryer. It won't be long till summer's here. |
