It's interesting to consider what is appealing to a photographer. You could give a thousand different people a camera and have them each walk down the same few blocks in a city and take photos, and you'd end up with a thousand different pictures and perspectives. This sight appealed to me in an alley behind a row of yuppy-type restaurants in the now hip lower down town area. I guess success in photography lies in whether or not what jumped out at me will stimulate you. Hey! Look at what I saw! Is that what it's all about? |
