Autumn is the season of photography. The natural beauty of the flaming leaves' last bid for attention is enough; but that's not all...crisp frosty mornings, wearing sweatshirts and wool socks and raincoats, the surprisingly early onset of sunset, the smell, the crunch, the chill. It's hard to walk past a window and not pause in wonder. I took this while laying on my couch on a rainy Sunday afternoon, baseball and football on the television giving way to Van Morrison's tale of Boffyflow and Spike on the stereo. The camera was in reach, but if it had been in the other room I don't think I would have broken my lazy reverie to retrieve it.
